The Psychedelic Society
About
The Psychedelic Society is a UK-based not-for-profit community and worker co-operative dedicated to creating a culture that respects the potential of psychedelics and the practices and philosophies they inspire. Founded in 2014, the organisation supports the responsible, informed and thoughtful exploration of psychedelics, altered states, wellbeing and personal growth.
Through events, retreats, courses, training programmes and community gatherings, The Psychedelic Society helps people connect more deeply with themselves, one another and the natural world. Its programme encompasses psychedelic science and philosophy, integration and peer support, meditation, breathwork, movement, authentic relating, nature connection and harm reduction.
The organisation delivers hundreds of events each year across the UK and internationally, providing a platform for researchers, practitioners, educators, facilitators and emerging voices working across psychedelics, consciousness, culture and wellbeing. As a worker-owned co-operative, its work is guided by community, safety, inclusion and responsible engagement with both the possibilities and risks of psychedelic experiences.
